Is it Friday yet???

It's the middle of the week and I'm already completely exhausted... I don't know if all 2 years olds have the same amount of energy, but mine sure manage to keep me busy and make me crazy! lol

NOTHING is safe from them... we already changed the entire living room to make it safe for and from them, but somehow they manage to find stuff to either destroy or hurt themselves. And in addition to all that, they decided they don't need to take a nap in the afternoon anymore, so no 'rest' time for Mama!  Not to mention all the fighting (which is probably what makes me insane the most), they fight over EVERYTHING! Then, 5 minutes later they are both laughing their little tushies off, playing together! LOL

Oh, well... I guess I shouldn't complain, they are healthy happy children and that's what matters. It's just that the exhaustion gets the best part of me sometimes! ;)

Ok!!! Enough of my whining! Thanks for let me borrow your ears (or rather, your eyes) a little bit! :D

This was a fun one! Thanks Doodle! This month you have to scrap following certain rules, and this is what I came up with. I used my Winter Sparkle freebie.

Font Challenge

Andrea chose this FANTASTIC font called Monbijoux and I just LOVE IT! Isn't it fabulous? I made the layout using my Serenity kit, available at my store.

 Scraplift Challenge

This month Beth chose this amazing layout by Kim for us to lift. I used Kim's Spring Passion kit (which I absolutely LOVE).

The Great Exchange

This month we're playing with 2 of Andrea's kits: Play and My Girl. Just join the challenge and you'll receive these wallet-size QPs along with all the contributions of the other participants! ;)

Color Challenge

Kim picked some very soft and feminine colors for us to play with this month! There are already so many amazing kits and layouts done with it! I just love how the same colors can have so many possibilities!

Oh My....

... has it really been THAT long since I blogged?

Shame on you, Livia!!!

How have you guys been?

Vacation was GREAT! It was awesome to see my family and friends again... Watching the kids interact with and charm my entire family was FUN!!!

Coming home was a whole other story... The first few days were tough! First because I always get a bit depressed to be so far away from my family again and second because the kids were so used to having SO MUCH attention all the time and single-handed-mommy here couldn't replace grandma, grandpa, great grandma and tons of uncles and cousins!  PLUS they were very jet lagged! ROFL... Feeling sorry for me yet? HAHAHA

So... what made me come out of my cave and start blogging again? Well, besides the fact that I missed ya'll, I just HAD to show you what a GREAT GIFT I received from my friend Chelly! She made a mini kit and named it after me.... Isn't that SWEET??? What a great way to show affection!!!!

Good News!!!

YAY!!! I made it to the final round at SUN designing contest!!! This is all so exciting and also a great honor to be among so many talented designers!

Bad news is... I'm sooooooo lacking time! I really hope I manage to pull thru on this one, but I'll need some sort of miracle...!

I'm so 'not there' this month that I completely forgot to tell you about my Lyric Challenge at DSO.

This month we're working with a singer with whom I've been obsessive about this past couple of months (nah, not cuckoo obsessive, just listening to it a LOT! lol), Jason Mraz.

The song I choose spoke volumes to me when I first heard it because hubby and I had a long distance period on our relationship (me in Brazil and him here in the Netherlands). So it really hit a soft spot in my heart... Hope you'll like it too! (click on the title to listen to it)

Almost vacation!!! YAY!

Whoa... not even a week since my last post? It seems so much longer! I guess it's because I've been so busy...

We leave for vacation in 5 days (Woohooo!) and I'm trying to get the house organized before we leave. And let me tell ya... it's not been easy! lol We just have too much junk, and that's not a good thing when you are messy! :P

We're planning on making a few changes here when we get back, so I just want to do as much as possible before we leave, because I'll certainly not feel like it when we get back, kwim???

Another thing I've been buys with is the designing contest at SSS. I was fortunate enough to be one of the designers to pass onto the 3rd mission. I feel really honored because, as you've seen, the work of all the contestants is pretty fantastic! Really didn't want to be in the judges skin!

For mission #3 we were given a package with a few CU items and had to use at least 5 of them in our kit (so much fun to see how we all used them in different ways). The catch? The kit had to be MONOCHROMATIC!!! Yep, just one color!

That was a tough one for me...it took me a long time just to decide on and stick with a color! lol And with all the other stuff happening in real life, I was afraid I wasn't gonna make it in time! But luckily I did!

Here's my submission, hope you (and the judges, of course haha) like it! ;)

Oh, My....

... I scrapped!!! WOW, I can't believe it!!!

It's been a while... (just ask my ct bosses..lol). My BF asked me to make a layout using the Ooh la la! kit and some pictures from our trip to Paris earlier this year, this is what I came up with... I think it turned out pretty cute, whadayathink? ;)

Hmmmm... now that I've got my scrappin' mojo back, I guess I know what I'll be busy with today...! LOL

A hint: it's NOT laundry, it's NOT dishes, it's NOT house cleaning.... ROFL!
